Ellen Birch, President Ellen is a true entrepreneur with the drive and passion to be the best. After working her way up from office administrator to Vice President of a multi-million dollar court reporting business, in 1998 she helped establish Realtime Reporting, a new kind of company that goes to the next level of technological competence and professional, courteous service. Ellen grows her business by cultivating the trust of her clients. Once attorneys, law firms, administrators, support staff and other professionals try Realtime, they discover why Realtime’s clients come back to Realtime again and again for reliable, quality service. Her goal is for you to rely on her as your personal Court Reporting Department. A recognized business leader, Ellen was named one of Long Island’s Top 40 Rising Stars by Long Island Business News in 2006, and was a finalist in the category of Business Leadership in the 2006 ExecuLeadership Awards. She was also appointed to the Nassau County Bar Association’ WE CARE Fund Community Leaders board, one of only 4 non-attorneys. Her commitment to giving back to the community is evident in Realtime’s Goodwill Policy, in which a portion of proceeds are donated to local charitable causes. Ellen also gives her time and sponsorship support for many legal professional organizations on Long Island, NY including the Nassau County Bar Association and its WE CARE Fund; Nassau/Suffolk Law Services; NALS (formerly National Association of Legal Secretaries) of Nassau County; Nassau Lawyers' Association of Long Island; Huntington Lawyers' Club and the Nassau County Women's Bar Association. In addition, she is chair of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - LI Chapter (AFSP) and former board member of the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women (LICBPW).
